60' GANNON AND BENJAMIN SCHOONER JUNO

Designed by Nat Benjamin and built by Gannon and Benjamin in 2002, I assisted Nat with various parts of the design including detailed construction drawings for submittal to the USCG, hydrostatic calcs, weight estimate, ballast keel design, engine and fuel tankage as well as rigging hardware design.  It was wonderful having the opportunity to collaborate with Nat, one of the finest traditional yacht designers of this century, on this project.  Gannon and Benjamin did a beautiful job building JUNO. Jim Elk built the spars. Whit Hanschka made the hardware.
